Urbis: How do you describe your Light House project, which is situated on a cliff face in the coastal Sydney suburb of Dover Heights?
Ironically, when the juries came to visit it, they both said, ‘wow, it’s a lot smaller than we thought it would be’. It’s not a big building, it’s quite modest, and it’s a very legible building for Sydney in that it doesn’t take too much, but it provides a lot. It’s flexible and doesn’t need adding or subtracting; it’s pretty accommodating the way it is.
